Four-piece rock band, Kamora, are thrilled to announce the release of their debut single Wild Thing, out on 6th November 2019.

Having met in 2016, writing and playing together intermittently, the band officially formed this year. Taking the decision to write and rehearse together weekly, honing their skills as performers and songwriter, Kamora were on a mission to make a real success of the band.

It wasn’t long before the fruits of their labour began to filter into the music they created, highlighted by their impressive debut release. Wild Things is an anthemic rock song that takes from classic rock conventions and blends them with the brooding, earthy vocals of lead singer Max Murphy. Memorable hooks are enriched by atmospheric keys and chunky guitar segments, all held together neatly by an impressively tight rhythm section.

As well as the aforementioned Max Murphy, Kamora are made up of Chris Edwards (bass, keys), Taylor Callaghan (lead guitar) and Tony Corio (drums). Based in Glasgow, their shared taste in a diverse range of music - from alt.rock to indie rock, metal and blues - enabled them to have an opened minded approach to songwriting. With Wild Things due for release early November, the official video to follow later in the month, and more singles planned for regular release over the next twelve months, Kamora are eager to continue to build their credentials as an up-and-coming rock band in their homeland of Scotland and beyond.

Wild Thing is due for release on 6th November 2019.
