Camden Place x Louise DaCosta

Collaborative dance project Camden Place have teamed up with producer and DJ Louise DaCosta on a new remix of single A Life In Photos, due for release on 30th June 2021 via DaCosta Records.

DaCosta brings the sound of the summer as she combines progressive house with future house in order to create a sound that is undeniably vibrant throughout. Talking about the single, Camden Place producer Rohan Healy explains…”we wanted to create something that would make you move your body, but also move the heart, the Camden Place original carries a bittersweet message of lost love, and Louise DaCosta's remix just takes it all to a whole new level!”. A Life In Photos originally featured Irish songwriter Seán Silke, independent production studio and label Beardfire Music, electronic producer Magician’s Assistant and singer-songwriter Grainne Hunt.

DaCosta was raised in Derry, Northern Ireland and attended Queens University Belfast. Later taking up a DJ residency at Kellys/Lush of Portrush, Envy Derry - the only LGBTQ club in the north west, and other venues across Ireland; Louise began writing and releasing music with multiple labels and touring internationally. To date, DaCosta has scores three consecutive No. 1s on Beatport as well as dozens of Top 10s & Top 20 commercial chart successes. After working with numerous studios, Louise decided to take control of my own music, launching her own label in 2019 - DaCosta Records.

The Beardfire producers are David Virgin, Rohan Healy and Al Quiff, who have collectively worked with the likes of Nick Cave, INXS, Leslie Dowdall (In TuaNua), Mary Black, The Cruel Sea, RUNAH, Patricia Lalor, Cat Power, Billy Bragg and Lloyd Cole to name but a few. Between them, Camden Place have previously received praise from the likes of Hot Press, Earmilk, The Thin Air and Atwood Magazine.
