The boys have recently released their brutally brilliant EP The Independent State of Death of London, on Function Records on April 5th 2010 and the EP showcases the band’s influences, ranging from Shellac to the Pixies to Nirvana. However, these influences don’t limit the band to one sound. Having shared a stage with Sepultura and Part Chimp, Death of London easily bridge the gap between alternative rock and metal.
The EP is an example of their diverse style ranging from the sludgy sounds of grunge to the intertwining rock riffs akin to Tool. Death of London’s brand new video for “This is Japan”!
With Death of London about to release their third EP on Function Records – The Independent State of Death of London – on 5th April, we thought we would put you in the mood by letting you have a sneaky peak at the brand spanking new video!
The video was made for the rockin' "This is Japan" from the EP and in the words of the boys themselves it "turned out alright for no budget and two hours of heavy drinking"!
