Another day, another podcast singing the praises of people we like. This time it's Moneytree and Cancel the Astronauts turn to take centre stage, as both bands had tracks featured on the indie showcase podcast that is Best In British Music Show with Tara O.

Cancel The Astronauts - Panic Dots “Track of the Day”!
Cancel The Astronauts are due to release the Funny For A Girl EP on October 15th and those wonderful people over at Panic Dots have made "Things I Shouldn't Tell You" their Track of the Day!
The website state that the band "write simple and wonderfully uplifting indie tunes" and they're not wrong, as the EP has been receiving some high praise from the music press.

Since it is the end of the week and everyone is pretending to work, we thought we would give you a little round up of all the news and reviews stories featuring the very brilliant Cancel The Astronauts.First up is a little introducing piece in The Music Slut! Cancel The Astronauts Feature on Best In British Music Show!
Cancel The Astronauts have featured on the Best In British Music Show with Tara O! The band got an airing on the September 17th show in which the track Things I Shouldn't Tell You was played. The song is taken from the forthcoming EP Funny For A Girl.

The brilliant Funny For A Girl EP is due to for release on October 15th and highlights a sound of a band in their element. Subtly quirky, down to earth but still plenty ambitious, this EP represents five songs to get very excited about.
